Learning to Recognise Blends

Learning to play the recorder.

We have been learning how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb on the recorder. I like playing the recorder because I like that it makes nice noises.

Learning to use describing words.

I have been using describing words to write a diamante poem. 

I found it tricky that I didn't know the words and I didn't think hard. I enjoyed that I finished my poem and I put the right words into it. My next step is to think hard and put different words into my writing. 

My Bucket.

I liked making my bucket because it was good and I liked putting arrows around it.

IALT retell a story. 

This is my illustration for the story Grumpy Elephant by Joy Cowley. My picture shows Grumpy elephant and parrot and the giraffe and monkey. I like using kidpix to help my illustrate my retelling because it's fun. 

Learning to retell a story.

I found this easy because my book helped me and I found some of it hard because I got some spelling wrong. My next step is to practice retelling more.

Learning my basic facts.

I have been using mathletics to help me with my basic facts.

I think the answer will be eight because when I count on six from two I get eight. 

I like using mathletics because it helps me to get smart.
